smedit keeps crashing

I am trying to start smedit but the program wont start. I get as far as the setup screen i click start and nothing happens. And i do have the jar file in the directory of starmade.

That program has been very dead for some time. Could swear there was a replacement for it floating around at some point though.

There's SMBEdit which is a useful tool, but it isn't a model importer. You might have been thinking about that.
