SKIN TEMPLATE

hello everyone,

I made this the other day for anyone needing help with creating a skin. It's already the proper size, all you have to do is right click, view image and save it, and have fun creating a skin! Make sure you have a backup as a reference.

np, I made this for others as it was becomming crazy doing something then loading up, then writing down areas then loading back ..etc etc.... and a friend of mine really needed one...so I figured, why not help out the community :D and post it.

well... I could but, not sure the game will recognize the the areas, since this is made from the unwrap of the player model that the creator made.......if I were to do a 512 x 512 I would need the original 3d model and unwrap it accordingly, unless there is something I am missing.....

Just heard, at the end of the tutorial vid for turrets with Ai, they are doing a different player model /or skin....maybe they will make a template this time......

When i use this skin to test in the game on the model the boundaries on the skin are off in some places. i want to make a skin template that fits perfect to the character model.

These are some pics i took showing the template on the in game character model.

As you can see the boundaries are a bit off by a few pixels.

yes, I see that but they all blend together...hence the color coded lines sometimes meeting up on one seam. You don\'t have to use this as I made this when the game first was announced. Another person has done one and not sure how it works, but you can give it a try.....

Don\'t judge me if I\'m missing something or anything like that, but is it possible for you to make it so that Minecraft skins can change into this format? Or make a little online sin creator, like Skincraft? Sorry if I\'m being demanding. I\'m just curious to see if it\'s possible.
