Single Player asks for credentials from Starmade Registry

Folks!
My current residence has limited Internet access (they put the modem and router in the basement lol). Thus, many of the times I start up some StarMade, I am not connected. I also like Starmade-ing on long roadtrips. Unfortunately, for the past week, I keep getting this error:

Server Error: This login name is protected on this server!
You either aren't logged in via uplink, or the name belongs to another user!

From what I understand as an upstart programmer, my Sandbox is trying to ask the registry if my name is registered, which is on the Starmade web servers, which is....through the router. Which I'm not connected to. When I start Starmade in a connected state, all is well. Otherwise, I get that error and a frack ton of frustration.

Any solutions? This is really weird for me - all the other issues I've been able to solve myself.

Try turning off authentication/setting protected names per account to 0 on the server.cfg

Like I said in the other thread, I've got all the correct settings, I've never changed them since I started Starmade. Even when I was messing with pirates and sector sizes and the like I never touched them.
