    Like this but nicer:

    Benefits:
    - Gives more satisfaction in seeing the value of an inventory, eg when mining.
    - Could be benefitial in future, since I presume credits will be more valuable in the future economic updates

    Very good idea.
    Additional benefits:
    • Security 1: Know how much you are carrying on you. Maybe better to put in a cargo hold?
    • Security 2: Make sure you aren't forgetting about a very valuable item in your inventory
    • Trade 1: Know the value of your trading goods
    • Trade 2: For transactions, know you've got the right value of goods you need
    • Trade 3: After mining, know what your haul is worth on the default (and in future player) markets
    • Trade 4: Know you aren't being ripped of in negotiations

    Additional complications:
    • Meta items aren't taken from the shop's list of blocks. Unless that is also listed within block item lists available in launcher, might be harder to price them
    • Special-Storage item block's contents cannot be valued easily either
    • Potentially restrictive area on screen if you put you recommended. better somewhere at the top, maybe symmetrical opposite capacity after some ||| divider
    Additional suggestions:
    • A publicly viewable storage block, maybe called glass block or something. It could be opened by anyone but items can only be removed by person within the right rank conditions of the ship/entity it is built on. So anybody can view contents of storage A belonging to faction BCF but only Bob, founder of BCF can open it. This will encourage greater transparency, trust for trading and help for bureaucratic management of a faction. Industry officers will now what to work to, miners will know how much to mine and everyone can know how rich faction is without being able to change that. (similar to a block in blockchain concept)

    Good suggestion.

The ships Catalog Manager under Options and Tools used to list ships Credit price to. Now it only shows a ships Mass. Would be nice if it again could also show credits. For instance when you need your best sub 5 million credits ship for a particular mod...

You can just have it calculate based on weapon prices and blueprints could simply not be counted OR the blocks the blueprint is filled with could have their price calculated.
