A shipwide block-replacement mapping tool would be great for re-painting or re-color-scheming ships. Similar to the advanced build mode replace, but shipwide.
Ideally a map would be able to handle multiple replacements programmed in for one operation, e.g.:
white hull -> yellow standard armor
white hull wedge -> yellow standard armor wedge
white hull hepta -> yellow standard armor hepta
white hull tetra -> yellow standard armor tetra
white hull corner -> yellow standard armor corner
it would be, of course, important for blocktypes with orientation to maintain those orientations through placement.
storage draw and placement functions seem built in already, and this would be a great way to use the shipyards to refit or re-color a ship.
