About an hour ago, I have not been able to land ships on my home planet. When I try to land, gravity will pull me into the planet and spit me out the underside. If i exit the ship just before i touch the ground, the ship bounces around before getting pulled through the planet.
The two ships I have been trying to land are pretty small in comparison to my other ships that never experienced this problem. They are currently docked and I don't want to risk having them flung into space after undocking them.
I just tested this out on cores. If I create a new ship, the core just falls through the planet.
I have tried to leave the sector and re-enter it, but that didn't work. I closed down the dedicated server and the game, but that didnt work either.
The very last thing that I did before this started happening: I flew over to the nearest shop with a docking ship i had to purchase a default Isanth-VI. I then docked it onto the underside of my ship. When I approached the planet, I seperated the ships and tried to land them one at a time (planned on falling off the planet then flying towards the remaining ship.)
Then the "fun" began. So, what's going on?
