Ship repair

So my ship got some armor damage, no big deal i suppose except i have no idea where it is or what blocks. So my question is how do i find and repair damage on a ship?

I tried hovering around it to find any off color blocks, no luck
I tried blasting it at random with heal bean, no luck

so am i just f... ?

You can visit a shop and pay them to repair your ship.

I see, will the shop also repair lost blocks if any?

or are you left to roam around inside your ship for missing blocks?

I'm not sure about the lost blocks. Ill have to see.

The shop repaired armor, but will not replenishes blocks. sp essentially you need to go and a major hunt for damaged blockes ?

Oh and did i mention that it reset all guns or rather slavager/cannon comboes, awesome

edit: weapons are connected to the computers but does not appear in the T menu

With the planned shipyard system we will be able to repair not only damaged block, but furthermore reconstruct lost blocks.

But currently you have to rebuild your ship manually :/

Would it be smarter just to blueprint the ship and re-spawn it that way. It does sound like the easiest solution but also kinda flunky/cheating

Consider it a strip down and refit, 'repair' or reboot the ship at a shop if you need to first then do it if you want to limit/not feel so cheaty about it.
Too bad starmade doesn't have pipe cleaners

This is where I believe astrotech beams could get used. Put them in a small ship and fly around or maybe dock to a rail system that does you entire ship. But missing blocks will probably have to be repaired at a shipyard or manually put back into place...

as to the weapons being "invisible", I had that issue. You have to use C on your core and V on the primary weapon that is not displaying. IF for ANY reason you use C on any block then V on the computer it "disconnects" from the core and will not show in your weapons tab. I had this happen when I used C on storage then V on the salvage computer. Don't know how your computers got disconnected from the core but that is what has happened.

Sgt Wisky is correct you have to re-attached the computer to the core and you good to go.
