ship parts erased!

I am the host of a server with my brothers using hamachi. I had been building a massive ship for a good 3 days.

I came home and logged on with a different computer. Suddenly there are complete parts of my ship missing. Parts that I had deleted are still there. Its heart breaking.

My thoughts are that I was somehow lagging when building the ship on the host computer. So even though I could see it, maybe it wasnt really there. Then after logging on a different computer. It revealed the truth.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

On-planet I\'ve had it where changes reverted to me but other people still saw the changes, and the same with ships, too. I\'m not sure what it was because even after a restart it still showed up wrong. Something odd with it was the floor I had changed from stone to hulls and by pressing R while facing them they updated to the hulls on my client.

if you build when the server is lagging/not responding this can happen. ive had this happen on my ships where after placing tons of power blocks my power reverts to the old number and the blocks reset.



don\'t build near planets or when its laggy, and just hope it works.

This isn\'t just lag. I FLEW a large ship I\'d built and had been playign with for a few days into a planets gravity.

A couple of days latter MASSIVE sections of the ship were missing. Symetrically removed 50x30x30 block areas. Same with my faction base under the planet.

Seems planets have problems with loading/saving around it.

I recently finished a ship, and I came back on and there was a chunk in the middle of my ship that was missing. The piece missing was not the last thing I built and I was no where near a planet whilst building. The core was in that area too, so now I have to completely restart the ship. This has happened twice.
