Is there any (preferably) up-to-dated ship editors?

There is SM Edit, some versions of it still work quite well. You can also convert your ship and open it in programs like sketch up and such.

There's this program I use that lets you fine tune it pretty well. you can change the design piece by piece, change materials or colors, and even lay out the logic!

It's called: StarMade

(seriously tho, SMedit used to work, but I think is broken right now. There's also SMBEdit but it uses command lines so if you're like me and Jon snow and " know nothing" about that, then the game itself is probably your best bet)
