Ship camera gets stuck, can't exit ship, cannot move or rotate view.

Hi,

This is a very curious issue that me and a lot of others were having for a long time, and I couldn't find anything about it, so decided to post. It doesn't happen frequently, but if it happens it will prevent you from doing anything but relogging.

It happens when piloting a ship. Basically, you will be stuck. Your view will be misalligned with the camera, and you will have no control over your ship's movement or rotation, though you can still shoot. You can't exit the ship either, so you're entirely stuck.

Usually, when you re-log, the ship all of a sudden seems like 200 meters away, while you didn't see it move when it was stuck.

Another way to solve it, is to wait for a very long time. After 15 minutes or so the issue seems to resolve itself, at least it did that once for me.

Does this sound familiar to anybody?

Yes, this same exact thing happens to me all the time. it\'s very frustrating. But 200 meters away is nothing, when I logged my ship was almost 2000 meters away :P. I\'m beginning to wonder if it\'s connected to another issue I have where the little radar blip around a ship of mine will dissappear, sometimes making it so that I can\'t enter the core, but always making it so that I can\'t dock

that it happens sometimes when I undock a ship and then fly to the boundary of a sector. Is that the same thing that happens with you?

Not necessarily on undocks, it happens randomly for me too, just when I\'m flying it gets stuck like that then.

I get something like that when i press ESC while typing chat message. If you can aim some core block and press R-key, it usually releases you.
