Shift-click needs to be modified.

On top of what the shift-click currently does, if your inventory is open and you shift-click a hot bar stack, it should go into your inventory. If you have a storage box open and you shift-click a hot bar stack, it should go into the storage chest.

Just do it more like space engineers. And separate Material from shape for less clutter.
