So I've been building a ship and I focused on being able to sustain damage for extended periods of time which necessitated the shields being able to generate more shields per second than the DPS being dealt to the ship. The ships' shields/sec is currently 1.5mil (or so says the display:
), but the ship does NOT generate 1.5 million shields per second. I was testing it and the shields took a small hit (down to 17m/18m) and it took at least a solid 3 seconds to get back to 18m. At 1.5m shields/s, there is no way that should have been possible. I'm not sure if this is a bug, if there is an intended softcap on shield regen that is not displayed by the stat window or what, so if anyone could clarify this for me that would be much appreciated.
