I have been building an experiment ship to play with the power regen a bit, and I noticed when adding shielding that for every one shield block added, only 79 shielding was added, instead of 400. The power regen is 752k, the power load is 26k (I know; working on it), the shield e/sec is 777k, and the total shielding is only 37k. The ship is not that big--only 5300 blocks, but it does have a large volume due to strands of generators sticking out in all directions. If anyone can shed any light on this weird problem, I'd be much obliged.

Lol nevermind I guess this is whats called diminishing returns. How silly of me.

Pay close attention to the shield regen delay value. It starts off with 0.5 seconds, but after you reach border of something like 32000 shields, it jumps to 1.0. That could be when additional shield blocks would give less value, but i haven\'t measured... The delay value means how long it takes for shield to start regenerating after taking a hit. You definitely don\'t want to exceed that border by just a couple blocks if it makes delay jump from 1.0 to 2.0.
