So imagine if you will the following scenario:

You are flying your flashy battleship. Your battleship uses a special multipurpose docking area. Sometimes you have your fighter squad docked to a special transport rack that is docked to the ship. sometimes you have a sweet laser light show. SO... what do you do when you A. want to unlock your fighters from their rack (which is a ship docked to yours) and B. How would you start that flashy laser show to announce to your faction you just returned?

Well if you are like some of us you may use the method of "shooting" a docked core through an activation area on whatever it is you want to activate. In doing so you are able to "Transfer" a signal from one entities to another. My space faring friends, there must be a better way.

What I would like to propose is a method by which you could send a signal without needing to devise crazy (genius as they may be) contraptions to do such a simple task.

What if we had a logic block that we could place on a ship that would act like a reviver, and the ability to "link" a transmitter block to a dock. The transmitter would pass an activation signal to the reviver block to whatever entities was docked to the dock it was linked with. the transmitter could work similar to a delay block. and the reviver would act like an activation block. so you could effectively send a single signal from your main ship, to a docked ship, and to yet another docked ship, and another, ect....

There you have it. Now that we have chain docking I propose chain logicing... err... chain signaling.

if this would be too much work, maybe they add an activating effect to power supply beam
and a deactivating effect to power drain beams.
m8 be an easy solution for the scripters

ow and something extra: you can activate logic while in a core!

well... even if this wouldn't be too much work.... being able to place and use activation beams for stuff might be pretty sweet too !
