I\'ve used that same generator to come up with names for characters in a book.

I gave it a shot last night and you\'re right. SMedit is not quite fully functional in it\'s current state. I was able to import the VRML output from the ShapeWright site by converting the VRML into and OBJ and then importing that into SMEdit. Just search for VRML converter, I found a free one on the Princeton website.

That being said, I feel like the ShapeWright site is better used as inspiration rather than a straight up ship builiding tool. If you do end up using the site to import ships, I would recommend crediting the creator of the site should you display your ships as well as mentioning that you used SMedit to import it.
