Shadow Corp Textures - Clean and Simple (WIP)

Here's a texture pack I'm working on for myself. Also included is a fix to the backgrounds of the terrain textures that will prevent the grid effect you get when further away from the blocks. I also have a copy of the vanilla textures only with the terrain fix.



10/10 News Update: I'm back on starmade and working on my textures again. Got a few done this week, but want to make a couple changes before I post it. You can see some of what I'm working on in my latest ships. Screens here http://imgur.com/a/xTJta I did the salvage cannon, plex storage (looks off if you can see more than one side at a time, but stuck in a wall looks really cool) a few weapons computers, lava (just making it a solid pulsing color, will look good as engine/weapon detailing on ships) and made some tweaks to the shades of the hulls (gray much darker now, easier to distinguish from white) Expect a version update on sunday or monday.



Instructions-

1. Go to StarMade/data/textures/block and move the t000 file to a backup folder (ideally outside of your StarMade folder)

2. Click the link for the pack you want, then right-click the image and select Save picture as...

3. Change the name to t000 and make sure it saves into StarMade/data/textures/block or just put it in there after you save to wherever.

Is anyone using this? Wondering whether or not I should keep spending time updating here. Also is there any interest in a version with gray panels on the components instead of black?

I think that the black looks better, it creates a darker, more sleek look that normal Starmade textures don\'t have.

Agreed. Would just be a simple matter of a few bucket fills to turn it gray if anyone wanted it. Wouldn\'t replace black, would just have two packs.

I\'m happy to use it. It looks real well, and I am a fan of using black and gray.

Glad to see some interest. I have more ready, just havent updated here yet. Guess I\'ll do that when I get back home next week.
