Server crashing collision bug

    This is consistently crashing our server, and has been reproduced on other. It's been brought up several times over the last 2 months. This happens when two objects get near each other (they don't even need to come remotely close to touching). The objects are typically large, in dimensions, not in block count. You can take a 100meter long ship and then bring an 300 meter long x of blocks near it and this will occur. This presents a problem with players making large ships and trying to dock them, since their client lags out and the server ping rises into the thousands and even tens of thousands they cannot dock and lag/crash the server out over and over.

    The problems-

    Client: brings the client down to less than 1/2 an FPS and client movements//etc are stuck to their framerate so they are unable to move the ship away if this was done on accident. Anyone within a sector or in the same sector experiences the same effects.

    Server: pretty much brings the server to a complete halt, and eventually crashing.

    This has crashed our server several times today... with not-so large ships getting near stations. Actually the current ship is ~500 meters from the nearest station. I\'ve been running around all day trying to not erase players ships with the bug.



    It crashes all clients from the server with \"IllegalArgumentException: Missile Update typenot found 0\"
