Serve.cfg Not being read

So it seems like my server.cfg is just being ignored by the server. None of the setting that I have made are changing server side. Is there any guide on this or any place that I can get help at?

are you sure you're launching starmade from the directory that the server.cfg is edited in?
also, your thread title misspells server.cfg, hope the one you're editing is spelled properly.
