I couldn't find any post related to this problem (there's a lot of posts... even while using search engine) so I'm writing it down.

    1. Flying between sectors.

How on screen display indicators counts the distance between sector I'm currently in and sector in fornt of me (next sector I'm flying to)?

I've noticed that everytime I'm flying to a specific sectors they are changing too soon. For example I'm in sector [1,2,3], flying in direction to sector [1,2,4]. Distance to [1,2,4] on screen shows ~1350m. But actuall change from [1,2,3] to [1,2,4] takes place ~650m to target.

Does it shows distance from current position to the center of the opposite sector?

    2. Planets disappear or displace.

This one is very annoying. Flying to the planet few sectors away makes them displace or disappear completly on every sector change on the way. Sometimes they appear in completly different positions like on side of the ship or somewhere below and behind. And sometimes they disappear (for good) and other different planets shows off.

I\'ve noticed this to as I\'m flying to a planet it seems to move as I enter the sector I\'m flying towards it and it somehow disappears and its to the side of me or even behind me

Yep, this does happen all the time when space-travelling. I don\'t know what sectors are in StarMade, but the \"transition\" is not smooth. Also unknown to me if this has something to do with stellar objects orbiting eachother.

I\'m pretty sure the sector indicator you get is indeed the center of the next sector, so it goes away once you enter the sector.

As for planets I have to speculate, uit I think starsystems rotate and move around in some fashion, completely independent of void sectors and other star systems. Probably kinda like if you were trying to travel on the surface of a giant rubix cube while somebody was trying to solve it. So when you make a sector transition the game makes a best guess as to where you should be, and your heading might not be preserved properly.

And yes the planets do need to stop moving around, that is a really anoying thing. i do believe that it points to the center of the next sector though, so i don\'t think that is a bug.
