SD_BB Missile System

    The SD_BB missile system will not lock on, but it will dumbfire. i'm sure it is the right one, but iI don't know what to do about it.

    Select the lock on missle in your hot bar while in flight mode, switch the build mode and switch back. The reticle should become larger and allow you to lock on.

    I\'m experiencing a similar but much much worse problem, for i cannot fire any of ze missiles. 90% of the time they won\'t spawn (visually) and sometimes they don\'t spawn at all. While locked onto a space station i fired ze missiles (all of zem) and with one glorious nope, veered off into the void.

    These traitorous missiles need to be fixed!

    Though not as tretcherous as heat seekers which will wheel around and attack my turrets.

    I was able to get around most of the missile bugs by using KB missiles and putting my turret(s) behind where the missiles come out. They will try to kill everything within the same sector and 180 degrees in front of me, friend or foe, but is indiscriminate slaughter really such a bad thing? I say it isn\'t.

    The spawning bug Wannazzaki mentioned is still in effect, although it\'s closer to 30% failure to fire than 90%. It seems to get better when the ship is not accelerating forward.

    I am having a similar problem. I just created a ship, and I added SD_BB Missile Arrays attached to the SD_BB Missile Computer, connected to the Ships Core. I have enough power (not sure if it uses power?). I have 12 Arrays attached, but the missile won\'t spawn. It acts as if it fired, and has to cool down. However, they work fine on a ship I had built about half an hour before. The only difference between the two ships is the shape, so that shouldn\'t be a problem. I\'ve tried replacing the arrays, and the computers, but not the ship core, because I\'d rather not start the ship from scratch if I don\'t have to. Thanks in advance for any help! (Powerdrain Beam seems to be doing the same thing, but it seems to be working just enough to hit the shop and give me a message.)

    missiles are invisible if you watch through glass blocks. Could that be causing your problem? Try firing on a planet (which you hopefully can\'t miss) and see if they are just not rendered or if they realy don\'t spawn at all.

    I\'ll try that, but like I said, it works on a different ship, through glass.
