Bug with F5 and F6 taking solid black/blank screenshots: Started after updating to the latest prebuild
System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Proc: AMD Phenom X6 3.2ghz
Ram: 16gb
V-Card: Radeon HD 7500 series
Troubleshooting Done:
Three Fresh installs. Saving only Blueprints
Updated Video Driver
uninstalled then reinstalled Java SDK
Set to disable desktop composition
Set to disable visual themes
Tried compatibility mode for Windows XP sp3 as well as Vista
Tried Catalyst control center setting anistropic filtering as well as a Variety of other graphics settings
Set compatibility mode for Javaw.exe
Tried disabling desktop composition and visual themes on Javaw.exe
Compared Ingame Graphics settings to .cfg settings looking for discrepancies
Ran Malwarebyte , Avast, Spybot Search and destroy
The above came back all clean except for a program that may have installed with dropbox called Browserfox. However the problem did not start when Dropbox was installed so it is unlikely to be the culprit.
next day deleted starmade folder and did virgin update (same issue still going)
Deleted Starmade-starter.exe as well as starmade folder = issue solved at this point
Verified by resetting server.cfg as well as prefered graphics settings (all maxed out)
Took several test screen shots while resetting settings to verify that none of them were involved in the issue.
Conclusion = only one I can come up with is that something in Starmade-starter.exe broke with the latest update. However I cannot confirm this. Only that Deleting Starmade-starter.exe is what finally fixed the issue
