"days of work" for me would be about two hours worth of work for the average starmade player
i build my ships at a very thorough and meticulously slow pace. and i work very on-and-off too.
its not a huge loss and i can recover from it, but it will take me a while to re-build what i have

also yes i do save frequently. im up to my 81st savestate of this current ship design. ive been working on it for 9 months.
