Please add the feature to be able to rotate your player so that you can get into your ship even if it is completly differently positioned than the player!
Already suggested - even by me - but a good idea nonetheless. I hope it will be added, especially given that it shouldn\'t be really much of work - just copy-pasting some code from the ship\'s flying mode to character-moving one.
If your having problems with this, remember you can give your ship gravity, and so long as theres a 2 x 2 passage to the gravity generator you\'ll be orientated correctly so that you can reach the core
Yes, but it would be nice if you could rotate the player. It\'s not like it would be that hard, all that would be needed is to apply the ship\'s physics to the player. Gravity has its place, but isn\'t it eaisier to do without it?
Not to mention than in some situations gravity generators wouldn\'t work. Like actually entering the structure from space - you either would have to make external gravity generator or you\'re done for. Well, officially there\'s also alignment key but it not always works/solves the problem, while adding rotation will help with the entrance issue and make general movement easier for the players who will be able to move exactly how they want.
the easiest way is to port ship controls over the character controls, its pretty much the same already, except for the rotation feature. (hold Lctrl+spin mouse)
