Reticle Locking Place

I have updated drivers, java, ect.

780i
16 gig ram
Window 8

I've set client to admin.

I have already tried reinstalling.

So I get into the game and every 10-15 seconds my reticle moves back to the center of the screen and locks in place for 3-5 seconds and then I can move my mouse again.

I can still move forward and backwards with the arrow keys during this locked time.

I tried it in single player and it does the same thing.

Anyone know what's up?

Nobody has any ideas? I played this game several months ago so it did work at one time.

are you accidentally holding down C by any chance? I did this a few times and it confused the hell out of me

No I know what C does and I am not holding it down.

Well thanks for trying to help rimmer... Its to bad this type of game isnt being made by a big company with lots of money behind it. All the good games are made by 1-2 dudes and take forever to become stable.
