[REQUEST] USS Vengeance

I don't normally make requests, but I've come to realize that I can't do ship exteriors in StarMade to save my life haha.

I am absolutely in love with the design of the USS Vengence from Star Trek: Into Darkness. Flying it in Starmade would be amazing, and I hope one of you amazing shipbuilders out there would like to take a crack at it. Obviously doing it to scale wouldn't be feasible (It's something like 1400 meters!) but large would be nice; maybe 600-800 meters? I would be more then willing to help, and I'm not too shabby at interiors and fittings.

I consider myself a pretty damn good builder in minecraft, so if someone does an amazing job I'd build a house or castle especially for them and send them (and them alone, so it stays unique!) the schematic for it.

I have actually got plans to make this ship 1:2 scale, which will be about 600m long. I hope to be the first to make it . It will look so cool!

True it is doable, but I have a fast computer and it had a hard enough time with the Heldtech Damocles, I can\'t imagine trying to load a 1400m monster!

Biostrakk, thats great! Have you got any other ships up on here that we could check out?

Sadly I do not. This will be my first official build. I ran into confusion about the scale, because the ship could either be 700m long or 1400m long. The reason is the unconfirmed size of the Enterprise, which could be 300m or 700m. I\'ll go for a 700m long build whether it is 1:1 or 1:2

700 meters sounds perfect to me. Keep us updated if you can! Check out enfo\'s amazing Enterprise-A and GaeasSon\'s excellent 1-to-1 series of builds if you need inspiration.

That said... I could definately do a 1:1 scale USS Vengence.

I have started building my Vengeance, but once I finished the circle for the disk, it ended up being 10 blocks too long. I decided to leave it because I\'m not going to redo 1 hours worth of work. Hate messing up on a large build

Sorry for the confusion.

And no, it is grey. If you look at the models and the film it is a dark grey, very similar to hardened grey hull.

The hardened grey hull isn\'t dark enough. It\'s closer to black, but it does have a digital pattern camo on it, consisting on black and dark grey.

I would think if you made the hull a mixture of black and dark grey panels it would be about right; maybe use regular hull for some panels to to vary the texture? You may also want to make the hull a few blocks thick in case hardened hull gets buffed up to where it should be in the future; I really hope schema makes it worthwhile as armor at some point.

Incap I checked out your Vaygr Battle Cruiser and it\'s incredible! I really cant wait to see what you come up with if you do your own version of the Vengeance. I can\'t believe I have two builders interested in this!
