I always preferred short and bulky builds. Spherical, toroidal... or just more or less cubic.
Now I simply cannot build those because i need to put stabilizers far far away.
At first I thought: oh well, nice, I will use stream redirection nodes to make that power beam longer... or make it go in spiral around main reactor, I'm fine with that... but no, it is raw linear distance between reactor block and stabilizer block.
If you are going to stay with this mechanic, please make it that beam length counts, not a simple linear distance.
That beam now has bad look and can take damage.
Make it do something useful as well. I want my UFO-shaped ships to function.
