working on the winglets that are slated to carry the planetary ascension thusters and specialty turrets :D

if the planet is big enough, the PATs (planetary ascension thrusters) are used to take off from the surface, and will "ascend" the planet as well due to it generating an intense heatwave on the planet's surface akin to large nuclear bombs, burning the land and sending whatever isn't leaving with the ship into the afterlife.

So don't land on an inhabited planet, I suppose, unless they owe you considerable moneys that they will not pay

added some more armor and shielding above the bridge as well as an observatory deck

sorry about the doublepost but this is a different update than the last.

fully circularized the starvane array hex, started the toroid sensor clusters in the wings, completed the basic front panels on the wings, and did basic structure on the inside of the runway.

A few shots right after lockon

sundew missle arrays really bite through armor. this is 2-3 volley's worth of damage.

keep in mind that this is a carrier firing the missles. not purpose-built as a battleship.

Alright a little more progress today. started the rear mid armor and added more sensor dish arrays to the wing root (also to thicken the wing cross section) and took pictures of the bridge and observation deck.

got power figured out, all that's left is to finish the interiors so i can fill out the exteriors and turret mounts
