This is a joint project between myself and MrTargareyan. He's working on the main body while I've taken on the armature that holds the reactors, engines and maneuvering wings to the main body. A glaring flaw in the design that you can probably see right away is how the armature structure is connected to the rest of the craft. It is pretty thin, but hopefully we can at least make it look serviceable.

The Red Queen is a roleplay ship used on the Tectum Clementia server, and was one of the fastest ships around thanks to it's large engines. It was primarily used as a blockade runner and smuggler ship, capable of outrunning any ship that engaged it.

Because Tectum is getting a new start, I decided the Queen needed a new start to go with it.

V2 shown next to V1. V2 is considerably bigger, with a wider span but is shorter by two metres. It features a larger power plant and upgraded engines that are no longer housed in the wings. The engines are now in a fully independent housing between the wings, that now use a sophisticated maneuvering fin system to assist in turning and executing difficult maneuvers, and the circular reactors on either side.

Does an interior life underneath the flower of a ship? It's a sleek ship, very nice

Sweet ship, first one in the TE that doesn't have a circular hole in it ( could be wrong) nice to see a new design once in awhile.

It's called an Arc Reactor/Coil. It's a very deliberate part of the design.

As far as I remember the Red queen is not a TE vessel
but rather a personal ship Incap used for his RP character on Tectum

And the arc coils is simply just a part of our design, in RP it is our ships power generator.
Also what is wrong with that we use arc coils in our ship designs?

I don't think he's saying they're wrong, just that he's surprised to see a ship made by TE members that doesn't have one.

Yeah what Incap said. The big power doughnut is present in every one of your ships except this one which supprised me.

    UPDATE:

Thanks to Targ for the picture. The main exterior is complete and the last finishing touches are being made to the interior. It might be subject to change depending on Tectum's rules on ships.

I have updates to make on the Red Queen, but recent events have made it difficult to come on. Visiting my father for a couple of weeks, my grandmother's upcoming funeral, and me starting work again will do that.

    So my apologies.
