Read-only

So, recently all my folders got marked read-only somehow and now 99% of my games don't work. This is one of the few that does, but the glitch means that I can't update via the launcher. I can download the releases manually but that's a temporary fix at best. Help? D:

If you\'re running linux/mac you can probably run a simple shell script on your home folder to reset file permissions, otherwise you might try running as admin or manually going through the folders and resetting the permissions by hand. I don\'t know if there\'s a way (utility or batch file) to automate someting like that in windows.

Yeah, I\'m on windows 8 >.<

I found a command line thing that\'s supposed to work but it did nothing. This is rather aggrivating x.x

Yeah, in that case the best I have to offer is to try running as administrator or going through and altering all the file permissions by hand. I\'ve purposely avoided windows 8 like the plague so I don\'t know how best to go about it in your case.
