for those of you that do not know what RCS is.

in space there is no air so wings are useless so to turn you use losts of little thristers around a ship

you can also use torque rings but they are slower and mainlt used on stations

here how RCS would let a ship move http://wiki.ssm-fans.info/_media/rcs-directions.png?w=550&tok=7e5233

here is what RCS looks like when it is firing http://www.thelivingmoon.com/41pegasus/04images/General/image005.jpg

and here is what an RCS block looks like http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/f7/Shuttle_front_RCS.jpg/250px-Shuttle_front_RCS.jpg

    see the little holes?

ok so my suggestion is to have RCS blocks on big ships to help them turn quicker

But only if turning speed is seriously, seriously nerfed on larger ships, along with acceleration. Capships should take a few minutes to reach top speed+brake+turn, even when outfitted pretty well. Titans should never be allowed to accel to top speed in less than a few minutes, unless it\'s built 75% or more out of nothing but Thrusters.

I support this completely. However my take on it is that it should require a lot grouped together to have an effect on large ships. That way I can\'t just slap on 5 RCS blocks on my cruiser so it can turn like a fighter, so it\'ll actually have to be something taken into account when building it.

The bigger the ship, the more clusters of RCS is needed.

But again, that\'s just my take on it. Great idea! I really hope it\'s added to the game, my Odin class cruiser is a pain to turn.
