I think there should be the option for admins to add races into their server and then assign new players whichever race is nesercary.
I don't think skins should have to be made for each race but instead each race has different attributes (e.g. a bird species would be able to fly in gravity and a rock race would have higher defence.) With each player they could also change the height of the player maybe? (So small races can fit in 1 block high gaps). If they needed to change anything for a specific player than a list would come up with different attributes and theyd tick or cross them as they go.
