It's partly a question, partly a suggestion, but I have noticed that you do not receive a notification if you are quoted or mentioned in an edit of a post. I bring this up because when someone makes a post, then realizes there is a post that they missed and want to respond to, that missed person will not get notified of a reply, which is a little bit annoying.
I can get why the forums do this (prevent notification spamming), but is it possible to tweak it so people mentioned or quoted in edits (possibly even post mergers) get notified?
