Put turret rotation speed on a curve.

    Small turrets should be able to rotate faster, to hit missiles and small ships, while big, titan-turrets should be slow.

    This is especially important since turrets don't aim as far off as they used to.

    Yes, my tiny AMS turrets cannot track missiles as they are as slow as my artillery.

    If this isn't planned, then may I ask, particularly Bench and/or the council... why?

    I would also say that turning speed should simply be a configurable curve based entirely on mass.

    This would then apply to turrets, and you would have zippy little PD turrets.

    This seems odd. I think the rail turrets are a bit... unfinished.

    I doubt anything in the rail system is 100% "finished" really. But yes, turret speed and functionality at the minute needs some serious improvement.
