Galileo Galilei, the father of modern observable astronomy has challenged the norms and unchained us to observe the truths of the universe. Now, his essence is immortalized through the Galilean Stations’ first installment – Galileo one.
Galileo One is the first Galileo Class station to be constructed by CUXTOM. It is composed of two major structures the spire and the semi-toroid base. The Galileo One has been designed to hold its own gravity in different directions that could serve many applications including realistic, comfortable living in the harsh environment of Space. The toroid base rotates around the axis of the spire causing centripetal acceleration thus creating artificial gravity [see MD Gravity below for in game detail].
STRUCTURE
The Galileo One has two major structures: The (1) spire which is the turning axis of the (2) toroid base.
The semi-toroid is roughly 500m in diameter and 300m wide giving enough space for superstructures. The spire is designed as a central station and the main access to the base. It is 600m long consisting of runways and a shuttle station inside the body. It will also feature superstructures above and below the structure each having their own unique direction of gravity.
MASS BRIDGE
The mass bridge is an elevator that grants access to the base.
ZONING
Although zoning is at the decree of the owner, the show-station will have 4 Zones: Military, Government, Commercial, and Residential.
Military – Located at the top of the spire, the Military zone has access to empty space all the time granting them quick response to situations. Various defensive turrets also are distributed in the station to protect its inhabitants from hostile forces.
Government – The government is located below the spire overlooking the toroid city below. This houses the faction’s HQ and embassies. However the color scheme is limited to black colors to imitate the night sky from the view of the citizens below.
Commercial-Industrial – The place where manufacturing and commerce takes place. Full of factories and businesses, this is where the residents work.
Residential – From luxury to low-cost living, Galileo One provides.
FORESTRY
Because the base model will not feature these elements, the toroid will be filled up with lush green forestry which can be developed upon the discretion of the people deploying it.

MULTI-DIRECTIONAL GRAVITY
MDG is a unique feature of the Galilean Stations. It is made possible by stabilizing multiple structures in a specific orientation and using their gravity field to hold the players. The directions of the gravity are specified below.

BASE MODEL
The base model will be available for importation to different sectors as soon as it is ready. So far, HSZ has approved the importation of the Galileo as soon as it gets finished. The sector download might be available for use in single player and multiplayer soon.
