Power Block Efficiency

So as I was smacking down some power blocks in single player, I noticed something interesting. It would seem that a single power blocks on their own are more efficient than when they've been stuck in a line as normal.

In other words, having two groups of one power block provides a greater recharge than one group of two blocks.

I'm done sharing, what has everyone else found out about these pesky little beggars?

I think you need to hit a length of 9 reactor blocks before their efficiency-per-block starts to exceed individual, unattached reactor blocks.

It's been a good, long while since I checked the numbers, so YMMV.
