    Hey guys!
    I really would want you to post some imaginary missions that could exist in StarMade. It should have the three headlines:

    Recommended ship type: Fighter, frigate, battleship, stealth cruiser, miner etc...

    Objective: Have an objective! For example, supply this and this location with this and this for this and this reason. Have a reason for needing that ship type! For example if the location of delivery is in a cluttered asteroid field that explode/damage on impact you would need a fighter to not die. Also make the mission make logically sense, maybe have a time limit like 5 minutes because otherwise the guy who gave out the mission thinks you stole the cargo and sends ships for you. etc etc etc

    Reward: Credits, items, ships, based on guy who gave out the mission etc etc etc

    I would just like to imagine these missions being in StarMade in a future update for example, but also I would maybe like to in the future make some more movies in StarMade like these based off of your missions!

    Objective: infiltrate well guarded pirate base under cloak and capture a logbook containing pirates "vital" plans and give It to the trading guild.
    Reward: credits, alliance to trading guild, knockdown prices at shops and faction points.
    Difficulty level would probably be hard.

    Recommended ship type: Fighter or something with turrets

    Objective: Hold off pirates from the station until trader guild comes.

    You find a shop on the edge of the galaxy you're in, and the shop says they can't serve you due to a detected pirate siege. The shop begs you to help hold off the waves until backup comes and will even throw in some rare items if you do. It's just 2 minutes, why not?

    Objective: dispose of 'hot' items or ship into system's sun.

    The pirates have offered an olive branch...for now...and will give a reward for disposal of some 'hot' items. This will of course piss off the trade guild.

    Bonus points if occasionally they betray you and instead try to destroy you.

    Recommended Player Type: Armed. Very armed. At least 2 arms, with guns on them.

    Objective: Clean up station of space bugs.

    The trade guild has detected one of their shops has been overrun with Arachno schema spacis spiders, and asks you to rid them so someone more competent can run the station.

    Recommended ship type:
    Armed Freighter;
    Objective: Deliver cargo to far-away system that's hyperdrive jammed (natural occuring hyperdrive jammed sectors?). Expect some pirates that torment trade rout;
    Reward: Credits, maybe some fair amount of blocks;

    Recommended ship type: Scout;
    Objective: We've lost contact with our mining operation base-ship. Go there, check what happened and bring us flight log. Expect the worse; do the mission in whatever way you want.
    Reward: Credits, maybe some blocks, small fighters;


    Maybe some easy, fast ones?

    Objective: We need x amount of y blocks/ores/items/whatever. Bring them as fast as you can.
    Reward: Credits, maybe some fair amount of blocks;

    MISSION: Transport supplies
    RECOMMENDED SHIP: freighter
    OBJECTIVE: Deliver needed supplies to Starport Epsilon in the Mectacol Rex system.
    REWARD: 500,000 credits

    MISSION: Search out new life
    RECOMMENDED SHIP: Science vessel with capture and hold capability
    OBJECTIVE: Capture life forms in the Vega system.
    REWARD: 10,000 credits per unique species captured. (100,000 if hostile life forms)

    RECOMMENDED SHIP: Survey vessel
    OBJECTIVE: Scan system for space anomalies, abandoned stations, pirates, shops, etc.

    RECOMMENDED SHIP: Something really fast

    Three variants on the dignitary escort mission:

    1. High-profile dignitary escort mission:
    Recommended Ship Type: Battleship+ (The dignitary will not travel in anything less than 50k mass.)
    Objective: Pick up dignitary at point A and deliver to point B; protect the dignitary's 4 escort destroyers and your own battleship from all damage. (Minor pirate threat possible. Possible high-level rival dignitary ambush.)
    Reward: Faction Points

    2. Low-profile dignitary escort mission:
    Recommended Ship Type: Frigate or Cruiser (The dignitary will not travel in anything less than 2k mass, but anything larger than 40k will attract too much attention or require too many resources.)
    Objective: Pick up dignitary at point A and deliver to point B; dignitary's 4 escort frigates can be damaged or destroyed. Minor pirate threat possible. Slight chance of a rival military ambush.
    Reward: Faction Points

    3. Double-blind dignitary escort mission:
    Recommended Ship Type: Frigate (The dignitary suggests no more than 20k mass to avoid attracting attention.)
    Objective: Pick up dignitary at point A and deliver to point B; try to protect dignitary's decoy cruiser. Other three frigates can be damaged or destroyed. Minor pirate threat possible. Definite chance of a rival military ambush. Free to flee if the decoy cruiser is destroyed.
    Reward: Faction Points if the decoy cruiser survives. Minor credit reward if the cruiser is lost.

    This would require a little Schema magic but here it is:

    Recommended ship type: N/A (this is a long-term mission)

    Objective: After learning the story of the ancient alien race [Insert awesome alien race name here] who controlled the galaxy for centuries using advanced weapons you set out to find evidence of these aliens and their technology. Alien shipwrecks would spawn on a dozen random planets in each galaxy each of which would yield an alien circuit board (maybe there could be clues on logs hidden throughout the galaxy that you could find too).

    Reward: Once you find ten of the circuit boards a crafting recipe is unlocked that allows you to craft some awesome piece of alien technology (like powerful weapons or shields or something). Perhaps finding different boards will give a different type of technology.

    "We've received reports of a dormant ship drifting through space. from the looks of it its rather old. Scans indicate its a cargo vessel of some kind. We will be willing to pay for whatever you find within. Be careful, our scans show that the entire cargo hold is lined with explosives. We highly recommend you retrieve the goods on foot, blasting your way in could damage the loot. One last thing, we're getting some odd readings from the ship. Never seen anything like this before. Be on your guard"
    Reward: Credits + Faction points + Loot

    "(Planetary) Assault"
    Recommended Ship Type: Frigate and up
    Objective: Destroy the Pirate faction Module (Could be in a station or on a planet. it will be random)
    "Local pirates have been seen sending out raiding parties from these coordinates. We think they have a base there. Eliminate them"
    Reward: Credits + Faction points

    "Return my ship!"
    Recommended Ship Type: Any (high damage sniping weapons are recommended)
    Objective: Recapture stolen ship and return it to its owner (pay depends on the ships return condition)
    "I've been ship-jacked! Some one has made off with my ship. I managed to track him down to these coordinates. I don't care how you deal with him just make sure that my ship doesn't have a scratch on it!" (basically you will need to overheat the core of the target ship without doing a lot of damage. then get in the core of the ship and fly it/take it back to the quest giver. The game will remember the ships state when it spawns and compare it to the state its in when the ship core has been overheated. this way you can't cheat by repairing the ship before taking it back. you will need to be able to snipe the ship rather than just blow it up)
    Reward: Credits + Faction points (amount will be calculated by measuring the total block value of the returned ship. (before start - return condition) + base reward= final reward)

    Recommended ship type: Small, fast ship, with jump drive and sensors.

    Objective: One of our ships was outfitted with an experimental AI. However, it escaped its handler ships and has escaped our sensor range. Board it, shut down the AI, and bring it back. The weapons were unplugged before we launched it, so you don't need to worry about it shooting you.

    Reward: Credits, ship or manufacturing parts, faction points

    Bounty Capture (NPC)

    Recommended Ship Type:
    Scanner equipped or Jump Drive capable. Jamming and Stealth optional

    Objective: Capture [target (procedurally generated bounty head)] Dead or Alive. [target] is an [class (Class F-A)] bounty wanted for [crimes committed] and was last reported in the [system name] system. Ask other NPC in surrounding systems for clues. [target] pilots a [ship type] and is to be assumed armed and dangerous. Approach with caution and stealth, [target] will attempt to board his ship and flee the sector when noticed. Reward must be claimed from your nearest [trade guild or pirate station] within [number] galactic standard days upon bounty capture.

    Hostile allies might accompany [target]. Self-defense against non-bounties is authorized (trade guild issued bounties only) An additional bonus of [number] credits per target accomplice will be granted (pirate issued bounties only).

    Reward: Credits determined by Dead or Alive and bounty rank. Bounty ranks are multipliers. F (1.0), E (1.1), D (1.2), C (1.3), B (1.5), A (2.0). Trade Guild and Pirate bounties will both be able to be posted as "Dead or Alive" or "Alive only". Only Pirate bounties will post Dead only "Hit-Bounties". Alive is always between 1.1x to 2x more of the random base bounty before the rank multiplier. Hit-Bounties are always 2x the base because of the nature of the bounty.

    Outside of the scope of generic bounties, there would be specific bounty story lines for special "S-Rank" bounty heads that would yield much larger rewards for the length and difficulty.

    Recommended ship type: anything large enough to support a LARGE tractor beam (pull effect) and capable of killing standard pirate waves on the server.

    Objective: Interstellar communications are flooded by an emergency signal from a nearby wormhole site. You have to reach a specific black hole and use your tractor beam to save a medium sized science vessel from being sucked in while also keeping yourself far from of the point of no return. Afterwards, escort the science vessel through a pirate infested sector to a trading guild homebase.

    Reward: The science vessel had been in the proximity of the wormhole to collect data for use in FTL research. To express their gratitude, they will supply a large amount of jump drive and warp gate modules as well as the associated computers, plus a credit reward depending on the damage they have suffered from pirates (full credits if science vessel shields never reached zero). To collect the reward, you will have to enter the trading guild base after the mission and speak with the administrator there.

    Lots of hard-to-make-fun escort missions, including my ideas. Here's something a little more fun.

    Ship type: Any
    Objective: Attack a pirate group and destroy them before they have a chance to... (as if you really need a reason to destroy pirates)
    Reward: a faction point plus x credits per destroyed or captured pirate pilots.

    Ship type: Any
    Objective: Pirates have already done their thing. Attack their small fleet/guarded space station for revenge.
    Reward: a faction point if all pirates involved are destroyed, captured, or fled beyond x sectors/systems away.

    Bonus option: if the first mission is failed, anyone but the original pilot can take on the second mission. (e.g. if jayman38 fails to destroy the pirates before they can attack, anyone EXCEPT jayman38 can take on the revenge mission.)
