What's the point of not allowing PlexLifters on Starships?? It doesn't cause a disaster or anything?

Something to do with physics. Some bullshit they can't solve. Don't think about it too much, there are lots of people who want them.

Apparently they don't work on the new planets for the same reason.

The plex lifter bug on planets should have been fixed (need to check that though), but they seem to be a lot more stable since a few updates ago.

plex lifters work as they should on planets.

there is a problem on ships with em, cause the ship is movable (physics problem)

in my opinion its no big problem at all, because you could use gravity lifts

Indeed, there were two dependent bugs with lifters on planets which have been fixed.

At least one of them was caused by the spatial alignment of planet faces, which, as I imagine, would have been the main blocker with their usage on ships.

I don't believe that we still have enough purely technical reasons to further restrict their usage.

Although I look forward to lifts working in ships (and possibly being able to be resized maybe) I still enjoy using gravity to go flying down a corridor.
