    The suggestions subforum is meant to be read by the devs and then they would decide to add a suggested feature or not. Lately they don't seem to be paying much attention or just not making it directly known that they've noticed.
    Well, if the devs read a post, they're supposed to put an abbreviation next to the title that says, "hey, we've read this." There is a list of abbreviations pinned at the top of this forum.

    Forgot about those. Just ignore the "directly know" thing.

    Hey schema if you or any of the other developers haven't read this post yet, please do and let us know your thoughts on this kind of system. We've done some considerable brainstorming for a ship buying/selling system and how it would work. I don't know if we've thought of anything you guys haven't, but it's definitely food for thought. Most of the deep thought happens in the comments, where some people have suggested things like using rails to designate ships being sold and even special sections of the HUD for ship selling. I'm sure you guys have discussed this kind of thing before, so let's try to collaborate a bit on how ship sale may function if it's possible.

    Why not just use a long? Max value of
    9223372036854775807... make it a life long goal to fill it...
    Because StarMade's dynamic economy could one day feature multiple currencies, exchange rates, inflation, investment markets, and a server-wide galactic bank that makes loans to multi-faction conglomerates to finance custom luxury planet building. 9 quintillion is enough for little ol' Earth, but StarMade has over 9 quadrillion galaxies!:-p
