Pirates not spawning

I have been trying to get a pirate force to attack my shipyards for hours and nothing has spawned. I decided to go out and find them and still nothing. I can Initiate waves of pirates, but no random raids appear no matter how much time or what sector I sit in.

you probably dont have a pirate ship set, go to tyhe catalog hub then admin and set the isanth as enemy usable

I have the standard pirate Isanth set for pirates/enemies to use. never changed it in fact, just that after the recent full release the pirates stopped showing up.

try editing the server.cfg file in the starmade folder, there should be a line something like \'allow pirate spawning\' then make sure its on true



otherwise i havnt got a bloody clue

It seems that I had been playing with the background image unclicked and for some reason that causes no pirates to be generated.
