Pirate Station Faction Block Indestructible?

I think there is either a glich in my game or there is a bug where I cant damage the faction block. Ive tried making a faction for myself and attacking it then thinking maybe i couldnt break it without that. But it didnt change anything. Ive also quit and restarted the game a few times and nothing is working.

Your weapons are not powerful enough. It\'s as simple as that. A faction module has a health of 500 with 99% armor.

Your AMCs need to either do 100+ damage (and thus do 1 damage, for 500 shots to destroy), or use missiles because they ignore armor values, so a few missiles will take it out really quick, just make sure not to make them too powerful or they will take out the loot too.

I\'ve always used the salvage cannons on them, gets rid of them really quickly

You cannot salvage faction core. Also actual damage dealt is numerically floating point. Visually you only see 0, but it might actually be 0.5 or something. The faction core will be destroyed with any weak guns, if you shoot it long enough. Or just shoot 1 missile next to it, so blast radius destroys it in 1 shot.
