Hey all,
I'm trying Starmade for the first time, in single player, and I've been enjoying it so far, except for one frustration.
The planet I've set my home on, pirates keep coming by. I try to fight them off, but their ships just jump all over the place as soon as I get close. It's acting like I've seen lag act in other games, like the ship's there one second, the next second it's moved way over somewhere else. I can't shoot them because of this. As soon as I get close, they disappear (well, move somewhere else)
During all this, my framerate stays high, in the hundreds.
I've got a pretty fast computer, so I don't know what's wrong. Any suggestions?
For reference, my machine specs:
Windows 10 Home 64 bit
QuadCore Intel Core i7-4770K
Asus Z87-Pro motherboard
16GB DDR3-1333 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti (6 GB)
Samsung 840 SSD (512 GB)
