phantom lights

I just got back to the little outpost station I am constructing, and I notice there's a row of lights floating in space.
They are not plex light blocks, they're just lights, without any block.
I have never built one of those plexlights that shine so very bright yet.
Where did those lights in the picture below come from?

Also, how do I link the picture directly to the post? Usually I just copy the IMG code from photobucket, but that does not seem to work on these forums.

Any chance they could have been Plex Beacons? They shine like that, and from a distance, you might not see the block. They also seem to turn themselves off after a short time.

Seriously though, I have no idea. Maybe the lights were displaced from some other part of your ship?
