    Comprehensive idea I have for a personal weapons update. This would replace the current (what I can only hope is a placeholder), standard "personal weapon" pistol. These would eliminate the uselessness of being out-of-ship, and would make infantry warfare (shipboard and planetary) awesome. Things can be changed, this is completely open to ideas.

    In order to apply weapon attachments in-game, you'd need a Weapons Bench block (great for a shipboard armory!). I have standard cartridge ammunition (because that is what I am familiar with) below in my proposal, but if you'd all perfer a more space-age equivalent, feel free to use limited power cells or something of the sort. Thanks!

    Rifles

    • Assault rifle (36-round magazine, 5.56mm caliber, fully automatic, close-medium range)
    • Battle rifle (36-round magazine, 5.56mm caliber, three-round burst, medium range)
    • Marksman rifle (12-round magazine, 5.56mm caliber, semi-automatic, medium-long range)
    • Hunting rifle (8-round cylinder, .44 caliber, semi-automatic, close-medium range)
