THE CURRENT RELEASE STATE OF THE GAME ACCORDING TO THE HUMBLE PLAYER
To Starmade I came seeking good game,
But they're bugging the game til' its dead,
The Schine Team has it sooo easy,
Schema's putting features in his game!
The people of SM are hungry,
But if, what a feast there could be!
If we could creee-ate!
A bug-free game-state!
That works for the players,
Like meeeee!
I am the man who complains on the forums,
as mods descend upon me from up a-bove,
They come down!
And they ban me around!
For speaking of a game that's bugged-to-death
Some times it seems that to report bugs is fine,
And that schine will fix them as-they-fall
Then I see that I have misjudged it
I should not have post-ed af-ter all,
Caaan I haaave a buuug fix please?
Why must these infernal devs tease!
I am the man who got banned by the mods,
Who continue to ban from up a-bove,
Come Muscovite! Let the players unite!
A collective regime of posts n stuff.
I work so hard in reporting the bugs!
But the mods and Schine team don't give time!
But the players will rise! We will not compromise!
For we know that all those bugs must die!

Prepare the Dock to-be un-furled,
For we're succeeding from our world,
We shall regain our pay-to-play,
We shall obtain the released game,
We shall embrace StarMade and toil,
For-ever and a day.
In reality this is a sort of protest to some of the game-breaking bugs and poor optimization that have plagued the game recently. I'd be willing to forgo shipyards in the next update for a round or two of bugfixes and optimizations. It seems to me that there is no reason for new features if they are going to be buggy and unusable.
All in all, consider this comedy with a narrative or purpose, and it should not be taken entirely to heart.
