I have noted that the pirates, given no target, will stay in packs. One might move off and then return to it's pack just to have another zip off with the remainder in tow. I have not noted any one ship as a "master" ship. Is there a "master" ship? How do they stay together? It would be nice to have access to this for an AI fleet or drone swarm, true but I got to thinking about this. I would love to see a "mother" ship that acted like a pirate station, in that it can call for backup ships. But the backup ships don't fly off to despawn, they stay near the "mother" ship.
