Option to set default cockpit view

I would like to be able to pick one cockpit in each ship and set it as my favorite. This way every time you enter the ship, you will be at your preferred view.
The game currently doesn't remember views between ships. I find it very annoying to have to hunt for the correct view every time I change ships, especially when there is a lot of them.

Remember last, but they should also have names and fall-back cams.

One get destroyed? Go to the slave camera.
Don't switch into slaves by default (because that can get annoying with 100 cameras on capitals for example).

Their names could be "Default", "Default-Front", "Default-Right" etc.
Others can get entered by a set of 6 block-maps (the outermost block at a positive/negative axis) with highlighted camera-positions to select your camera from.
Select the block-map to use by selecting a ship-side via GUI.

great idea...i also would like to have the possiblity to use a view that doesnt point forward, without making my ship spinning around like insane -.-

The direction you look at is your z+? or z-?
