optimize build helper

can you optimize the build helper
Why:
When i have large build helper open it makes the game slower by fair bit.
I also want be able to place large amounts of blocks to fill the build helper up very fast.
When i place a lot of blocks down at once with restricted build helper my laptop freezes for a few second sometimes 10. When i place to many starmade crashes.

The build helpers are kind of broken, too. They're asymmetrical and messed up much of the time.
