no loot from pirates

I'm running the latest build according to the launcher, and the wiki says that when you take out a pirate ship they drop a cloud of loot. I have destroyed over 20 pirates and have yet to get anything.

Was that feture taken out, or is there something wrong with my install?

i have found that mostly pirates drop loot at random. some do, some dont simple as that

Check your server .cfg, where it says LOOT_STACK.
