Ok, so i know hand guns have been asked for, but what about new ship-ship weapons?
Ship weapons:
Plasma beam: A continuos beam, in the same way the salvage beam fires, that deals damage.
EMP missiles: They wreck sheilds, but perform neligible damage to hull, however if hitting sheild/hull they will halve your sheild/energy regen rate for an amount of time based on the power of the missile.
Hand guns:
(Modular/customisable in the same way you can build a ship only on a smaller scale. The bigger the gun, the heavier it is and the slower you thereby move.)
Energy rifle: Made using energy coils down the centre, with heat sinks on the sides.
