New update ruined turrets, you can't decide what way the turret wants to orient as it docks (as far as I know) and so putting constraints on the amount of space it will accept as valid based on it's orientation is just plain stupid. Anyway I'm now left with two turrets that were happily docked before installing the update and now my docking ports are literrally LARGER THAN MY WHOLE SHIP IN EVERY DIMENSION and they still will not dock. Again they were attached and working fine before the update, with enough space to legitamately fit when oriented along the center of my ship. However since they want assume a horizontal position when docking ( btw I can't think of a good reason why this should be, changing the turret code to have them assume the same prograde vector as the ship seems trivially easy) the new system decided they were unable to fit, and even after enourmously expanding the docking zone in all directions (like I said it is now longer wider and extends father up than my whole ship) I still can't have them dock. It is quite impossible that the new docking zones simply aren't big enough for the turret so I must assume that the new update messed with things that should not have been messed with, and the system we now have needs to be reverted or changed further.
Having trouble with posting screenshots, my ship is about 45 blocks along the z plane and the turret 25, the turrets other dimensions are trivially small and the docking zone is about 70 blocks along every plane..... yeah fix this s--t
